Countdown 18 Days (The "B" Beta Deadline)

After a fairly intense day of doctors, tests, two glorious passings, and minor, mundane--but verily appreciated--rewards, I didn't get as much writing done as I'd hoped.  I had wanted to post this update towards The "B" Beta Deadline with an inclusion of chapter twenty-five being complete.  While I made a good addition in word count, that goal was not met.  I, thus, will add it to tomorrow's goal: complete twenty-five and twenty-six.  We'll see how well I succeed.  But, for now...

Current status includes:
18 days remaining until deadline
24 chapters completed
(chapter 25 almost done and chapters 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 39 & 40* partially done)
97,481 words
265 pages (single spaced)
