If I wasn't so tired right now I'd be sad to report this update of The "B" Beta Deadline. As anyone who follows my twitter account will know, I woefully whined in myriad ways about how long and boring and tiresome my gig was today. I don't mind my "day job" so much. There are much worse things to do to pay the bills. I just had so little to do at it today, that it made the early morning, lack of sleep, and long hours that much more difficult to endure.
I was up at 3:00 am. I rode the subway for 1.5 hours to get to work at 5:15 am. I was mostly bored and cold (and thus sleepier) until the shoot was finally called for wrap. I finished up at 5:30 pm and didn't get home until 6:45 pm. Then it was pizza, mindless television, and this update.
I emailed some stuff to myself today, but I do not have the energy to import them into the chapters, thus my cumulative tally is increasing by zero words. It'll all just have to be included tomorrow. As such, today's report will be redundant to yesterday, except for the number of days remaining.
Current status includes:
20 days remaining until deadline
24 chapters completed
(chapters 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 39 & 40* partially done)

257 pages (single spaced)

I will now go crawl into my decadent husband's arms, pull up the covers, and sleep.
