Countdown 26 Days (The "B" Beta Deadline)

Quick, an update to The "B" Beta Deadline before midnight strikes!

...And now I feel a little like a tart and macabre Cinderella. O_o 

...And even with rushing, midnight struck before I got this up.  Oops.  Oh well.  ~_~ooo

Current status includes:
26 days remaining until deadline
20 chapters completed
(chapter 21 still incomplete)
80,375 words (I broke 80,000!)
206 pages

I know, not a lot of progress, but again, I plan to write for a while yet before calling it a night.  I'm not feeling bad about it either.  Go me, again.

After my early gig this morning--which went splendidly--I gave myself some rest and relaxation.

I lunched on left over yummies that my decadent husband had made for dinner last night.  I'll post a pic of it later.  

I continued reading Out of Time by Monique Martin, which I'd started on the subway to and from today's gig.  It was the sample I mentioned in a previous post that I was deliberating on downloading.  Seeing as I had a long train ride today, I decided, rather last minute, to go ahead and get it for the ride.  I'm very glad I did.  Already, I've discovered so many striking lines in it that I may be inspired to start a section here where I post them and others I find equally stirring in other stories I read.  Not reviews or critiques or even recommendations, really.  Just sharing that which intrigues me, resonates with me, and excites me.

I also napped.  Twice.  ~_~ooo

Well, back to writing.  I'll include the rest of tonight's progress in tomorrow's update.
