Countdown 14 Days (The "B" Beta Deadline)

A friend called from Paris to needle us about the abominable heat we've been experiencing here in the Big Apple.  "Hold on," he said, "I just got a chill so I'm going to get a blanket."

The jerk.  Squared.  'Cause well... he's in Paris!  I love NYC, but I also really want to go to Paris one day too.  Actually, if we hadn't moved here a year ago, we probably would've bought our first house and then gone to Paris for our last wedding anniversary (back in March).  While the first year here involved a fair share of struggle, I'm glad we did it.  It was my dream to live here after all and a visit to Paris could still happen some day in the future.

Maybe I could set aside the proceeds (if there are any, ~_~ooo) from my epublishing venture towards just such a trip.

I'll have to run that by my decadent husband...

Anyways, here is the latest update to The "B" Beta Deadline.  It may not be quite as extensive as my overreaching hopes had aimed for, but it is boast worthy.

Current status includes:
14 days remaining until deadline
27 chapters completed
(chapters 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, 39 & 40* partially done)
105,528 words
287 pages (single spaced)

*Estimated chapter numbers.

By the way, I'm less concerned about my growing word count.

Thank you to those who reminded me that it was the story that mattered not a silly tabulation.  Extra hugs and kisses to my decadent husband, who was the most succinct in reminding me of that important notion.

Thank you for indulging... (me).
