Some of the stories that were submitted, but not to be included in the publication, have posted their submissions on their blogs, websites or other places.  To honor their hard work and sad loss by narrow margins as well as to give everyone a taste of what this anthology is about, I will post these links as I learn them.  In order that I find them, they are:

You can read more about the development of this anthology on this Kindleboard Thread.  That links to page 20 of the thread, where the chosen stories (and poems) were announced.  If you want to read from the beginning, simply click the number 1 at the top or bottom of the page.

Now, the other part of the great news was the reward my husband gave me.  Again, everyone, keep your mind out of the gutter.  :P  I had a very, very busy couple of days, so my incredible husband made me a fine feast of blackened cod, steamed broccoli, and pan seared corn-bread.  It was not only tasty, but thoughtful, and perfect for granting me a much needed short break that I probably would not have taken if he hadn't made such a production and beautiful presentation of it.

Thank you, sweetie!  I really appreciated it.  You are not only my best friend, lover, entertainment, and sparring partner, but are also truly my favorite person in the world.

Ahem... enough husband gushing.
(And was it just me or did that statement seem somehow... wrong.  I like it.  ~_~ooo)

And I feel like I'm forgetting something.

Oh well, it will wait.  If I remember I'll include it in another post.  If not, then perhaps it wasn't meant to be shared with this small crevice of the big, big world.  Regardless...

Thank you for indulging... (me).
