Countdown 8 Days (The "B" Beta Deadline)

First, I want to direct you to the Recent Updates list to the left.  I put up a video in the Slapdasher section I made in lieu of sending out holiday cards a few winters ago.  It was my first attempt at such a thing, so don't poke too much fun at it, please.  ~_~ooo

Oops, it's after midnight.  Actually, it's after 1:00 am.  I'm letting it qualify anyways for The "B" Beta Deadline.

On top of that, you may have noticed that I missed the countdown for days 10 and 9.  I had given myself a break for those two days.  On top of a heavy work week, I was just feeling physically miserable.  I needed the break.  I hope it doesn't hurt my ability to make the deadline, but in truth, it probably wasn't good of me to push as hard for as long as I was either.  I'd done more than 30 days without a break.  Most of those days produced 2,000+ words each.  While I'm sure there are many people who struggle harder than I do, it was still bordering burn out.  

Today, I slept in until 9:30 am, I made a nice hot breakfast for my decadent husband and myself, and I relaxed with him, enjoying his company for the first couple hours of the day.  It did wonders.  I feel great now.  Tired, as it's so late, and little out of sync with the story from the short distance from it after living with it constantly for so long straight, but really good.

I made decent, not optimum, but decent progress today.  I hope to do better tomorrow.  And in the end, that's all any of us can do.
